Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial tracking across EPCM projects
Oversee cost estimating for feasibility studies, tenders, and proposals, including measurement of quantities and preparation of supporting cost breakdowns where required
Review engineering drawings and specifications to ensure robust and accurate cost estimates
Drive end-to-end tender processes, including strategy development, preparation of tender documentation, bid evaluation, clarifications, and award recommendations
Manage contract administration, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements
Provide clear commercial and contractual advice to project teams, management, and clients
Review and assess variation orders, claims, and pricing submissions against contract terms and market benchmarks
Prepare and review monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and support final account close-out
Identify commercial and contractual risks early and recommend practical mitigation measures
Support procurement activities including sourcing, evaluation, and engagement of contractors and suppliers
Ensure proper contract governance, documentation control, and compliance with Meinhardt standards and ISO procedures
Participate in project reviews, client meetings, and commercial discussions as required
Key Attributes
Strong background in cost management, quantity surveying, or contract administration within EPCM or infrastructure projects
Proven ability to manage multiple project workstreams and stakeholders in a delivery-focused environment
Commercially strong with good judgment, structured thinking, and attention to detail
Confident communicator with ability to engage effectively with clients, consultants, and internal teams
Proactive, accountable, and able to take ownership of deliverables
