Contract IT System Analyst - Project

Job description

1. PURPOSE STATEMENT

. This role undertakes projects related to the onboarding of new Manufacturing, Lab or Shopfloor

systems/applications/devices.

. Works in a team setting and is proficient in Manufacturing systems, Lab systems, network and

security standards and the System Life Cycle process.

. Able to effectively solve issues as they arise in collaboration with the team. Able to communicate

effectively and display high service level standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Analysis

. Elicit and analyze business requirements from key stakeholders and work

with the team in assessing relevant solutions and their potential impact in

the Manufacturing, Lab and Enterprise environments.

. Work with the team to identify key business requirements and objectives to

be achieved.
Projects

. Execute local projects for new Manufacturing, Lab & Engineering

systems/applications/devices.

. Work with the cross functional team in the preparation, review & approval

of the required documentation as per AbbVie System Life Cycle Process.

. Work with the local business unit the development of the project plan.

. Work with vendor and ISRM team on the required Information Security

review.

. Engage the Local & Global BTS Team to provision the infrastructure

required to host the systems/applications/devices.

. Update stakeholders on the project's progress and outcomes.

. Any other responsibilities or tasks assigned by your Supervisor/Manager.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies (includes Licenses, Credentials)

. Good understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) as well as SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall,

Agile, DevOps.

. Good understanding of the various systems, applications & devices commonly used in the pharmaceutical

manufacturing industry.

. Ability to exercise agility & flexibility in an ambiguous, diverse & fast-paced environment.

. Good verbal and written communication skills.

. Problem solving abilities

. High degree of initiative, ownership & collaboration to work in a cross-functional setting.
