Contract Finance Officer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contract Finance Officer to join our team at ComfortDelGro Engineering Pte Ltd. This contract role is based in Braddell, within the Central Region, and will play a vital part in supporting our financial accounting and reporting functions.

What you'll be doing

1. Prepare, review and analyze financial statements, including including posting of journal entries, stock aging report
2. Follow up with operations on overdue invoices and payment discrepancies
3. Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records
4. Perform periodic asset and inventory check and witness to disposal of approved obsolete inventory
5. Support the month-end and year-end close processes
6. Assist with internal and external audits
7. Contribute to the implementation of financial controls and procedures
8. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

What we're looking for

1. Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
2. 3-5 years of experience in a financial accounting or reporting role, preferably in the engineering or transportation industry
3. Proficiency in financial reporting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills
7. Hands on experience with SAP ECC / S4HANA will be an advantage
