Coordinate the end-to-end tender process, from identifying opportunities to preparing and submitting bids.
Review and analyze tender documents to understand project requirements, technical specifications, and contractual obligations.
Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, including technical and financial proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client requirements, industry standards, and legal regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams (Project Management, Architects, Finance, Legal) to gather necessary information for tender submissions.
Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants, to obtain quotes and technical data.
Conduct quality checks on tender documents to ensure completeness and correctness before submission.
Submit tenders within specified deadlines and respond promptly to client queries during the tender process.
Coordinate post-tender activities, including contract negotiations, clarification meetings, claims management, and variation orders.
Monitor and manage claims and variation orders arising during project execution, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with contractual terms.
Analyze tender and post-tender outcomes to identify areas for improvement and refine future strategies.
Maintain organized records of all tender submissions, claims, and variation orders, tracking success rates for reporting and strategic planning.
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
3 to 6 years of contract management/project experience in construction or engineering.
Knowledge of FIDIC, PSSCOC, and Singapore's SOPA requirements.
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and contract management cloud software.
Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
