Responsibilities
- Software Systems Management: Oversee the acquisition and development of software systems for various organisational units, ensuring solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Project Oversight & Quality Assurance: Monitor project results and the quality of implemented software solutions, driving continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
- Technical Leadership: Supervise the creation of Proof-of-Concept (PoC) solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and platform features.
- Risk & Security Management: Ensure appropriate security controls and risk factors are identified and addressed throughout the development and implementation lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams-including business users, developers, and vendors-to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Budget & Timeline Management: Develop project plans, manage budgets, track progress, and report status to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Project Management Certifications are a plus
- Proven experience managing medium to large-scale IT/software development projects.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and software architecture principles.
- Hands-on knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management practices.
