Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Content Manager (APAC) to shape, govern, and coordinate a coherent regional content approach across Asia Pacific. This role ensures global content is effectively translated, localized, and sequenced for APAC, while developing APAC-specific content where regional seasonality, cultural context, or commercial priorities require it. Acting as the central planning and alignment point, you will drive consistency, relevance, and execution discipline across global, regional, and local content activities.

You will actively shape narratives, create content, and establish governance structures that enable markets to execute effectively without duplication or last-minute rework.

Key Responsibilities

APAC Content Strategy and Regional Planning

  • Define and own the APAC content strategy aligned to global brand direction and regional business priorities
  • Develop an integrated APAC content roadmap across product launches, seasonality, and commercial moments
  • Ensure content plans are realistic, sequenced, and executable across markets

Global-to-APAC Content Translation and Alignment

  • Serve as the primary APAC interface for global content initiatives
  • Translate global campaign intent into APAC-relevant narratives and deployment plans
  • Identify feasibility, timing, and relevance gaps early and work with global teams to adapt appropriately

APAC-Specific Content Development

  • Identify gaps where global assets do not sufficiently meet APAC market needs
  • Develop APAC-originated content concepts grounded in regional consumer behavior and commercial objectives
  • Brief and manage creative development with internal teams or agencies
  • Conceptualize and produce engaging content across formats, including social media, landing pages, campaign materials, thought leadership, and PR

Localization Governance and Market Enablement

  • Provide markets with clear content toolkits, timelines, and localization guidance
  • Define guardrails on what is fixed versus adaptable to protect brand integrity
  • Support markets in executing localization efficiently without repeated clarification

Content Calendar Governance and Conflict Management

  • Own and manage the master APAC content calendar across global, regional, and local initiatives
  • Proactively identify and resolve clashes in timing, messaging, or channel usage
  • Manage dependencies and sequencing to avoid bottlenecks

Stakeholder Coordination and Decision Facilitation

  • Coordinate across Global Marketing, APAC HQ, country teams, creative, media, and agencies
  • Drive alignment and closure in a matrixed environment without formal authority
  • Communicate priorities, trade-offs, and timelines clearly

Content Effectiveness and Continuous Improvement

  • Partner with regional and market teams to review content performance and qualitative effectiveness
  • Identify patterns and insights to inform future planning
  • Apply learnings to refine the APAC content approach over time

Workflow, Tools and AI Enablement

  • Establish structured workflows for content planning, approvals, version control, and localization
  • Apply AI tools selectively for ideation and drafting while maintaining quality control
  • Ensure brand standards and governance are upheld in all outputs

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in content strategy, brand marketing, or regional marketing roles
  • Proven experience operating at regional level within a global-to-local matrix
  • Strong understanding of content localization, seasonality planning, and multi-market coordination
  • Strong storytelling skills with an eye for brand tone, messaging consistency, and visual aesthetics
  • Demonstrated ability to balance global brand consistency with local relevance
  • Experience working with creative teams, agencies, and multiple country stakeholders
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Capabilities

  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools
  • Experience developing and executing social media content calendars and PR plans
  • Familiarity with content planning tools and AI-enabled creative workflows
