Role Overview

Role Title: Content Designer / UX Writer

About the role

As a Content Designer / UX Writer, you'll help shape how Klook communicates with users across our web and app experiences. You'll turn complex product concepts, business requirements, and user needs into clear, useful, and engaging content that helps people complete tasks with confidence.

You'll work closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, Engineers, Localization, and other cross-functional teams to solve user and business problems through content. You'll also help ensure our content is consistent, scalable, and works well across different markets and languages.

As Klook continues to explore AI-powered products and AI-assisted content workflows, you'll also work in an increasingly AI-enabled environment. You don't need to be an AI expert or own these initiatives, but you should be curious about new tools and comfortable adapting your content workflow to work with AI and emerging content systems.

What you'll do

• Write and design clear, concise, and useful UX content across Klook's web and app experiences, including flows, UI copy, error messages, notifications, emails, and other customer touchpoints.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers from early concepts through launch to identify content opportunities and solve user problems.
• Translate complex product features, policies, and business requirements into simple and intuitive content recommendations and experiences.
• Use data, user research, customer feedback, and other evidence-based sources to inform content decisions and recommendations.
• Plan and conduct copy testing, usability testing, and other content experiments to validate and improve UX content.
• Work closely with Localization to ensure our content can scale across markets and languages.
• Work with AI tools and AI-assisted workflows to explore, refine, and scale content more effectively, while applying strong editorial judgment and maintaining content quality.
• Contribute to Klook's content standards, patterns, and processes, and help improve how we work as a UX Writing team.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of craft and attention to detail.

What you'll need

• 4–5 years of experience in UX writing, content design, product writing, or a related field, preferably in a technology, e-commerce, marketplace, or consumer product environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating UX writing and content design across digital products.
• Excellent English writing and editing skills, with a strong instinct for clarity, simplicity, and tone.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, with the ability to participate in meetings, discussions, and day-to-day conversations with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of UX principles and how content works together with interaction and visual design.
• Experience working in Figma or similar design tools to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Ability to independently take ownership of projects and make thoughtful content recommendations.
• Comfort working with AI tools and AI-assisted content workflows, with the curiosity to learn and adapt as these workflows evolve.
• Some experience with AI products, technical content systems, content management systems, structured content, or other system-driven content environments is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment with multiple priorities.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, experimentation, or data-informed content decisions is a plus.
