Overview
A leading global consulting and digital transformation firm is seeking a commercially driven Consulting Partner to lead and grow its Payments and Institutional Banking practice in Singapore and across the region.
This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, accountable for revenue growth, margin performance, client expansion, and strategic market positioning within the banking sector.
The role combines industry depth, executive advisory capability, and strong commercial acumen to scale a high-impact consulting business.

Role Responsibilities
P&L Leadership & Business Growth
- Own and manage the practice P&L, including revenue, margin, pipeline, and forecasting.
- Define and execute growth strategy across Payments and Institutional Banking accounts.
- Originate, shape, and close large consulting and transformation engagements.
- Drive account expansion and cross-sell across strategic banking clients.
- Build a sustainable pipeline aligned with regional and global growth objectives.
Executive Client Advisory
Develop trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives (CIO, COO, Head of Institutional Banking, Head of Payments).
Advise clients on large-scale transformation initiatives including:
Institutional and transaction banking modernisation
Real-time and cross-border payments transformation
Core platform modernisation
Digital banking enablement
Regulatory and risk transformation
Operating model redesign
Shape complex transformation roadmaps and translate strategy into executable programs.
Practice & Capability Development
- Build and scale a high-performing consulting team.
- Develop differentiated market offerings within Payments and Institutional Banking.
- Lead pursuit strategy for strategic bids and integrated transformation deals.
- Ensure strong delivery governance and margin discipline across engagements.
- Mentor and develop senior consulting talent.
Qualifications
- 15-20+ years of experience in consulting or financial services transformation.
- Deep domain expertise in Payments, Transaction Banking, or Institutional Banking.
- Proven P&L ownership with accountability for revenue and margin.
- Strong track record in originating and closing multimillion-dollar consulting engagements.
- Established executive relationships within major banks in Singapore or the region.
- Experience leading complex, multi-country transformation programs.
- Strong commercial instincts combined with strategic advisory capability.
