Summary
We are seeing a Consultant with 10+ years of experience in Investment Banking domain as a functional business analyst / project manager with a techno-functional background. Must have knowledge of FX, Rates, Commodities and other Equity derivatives business lines. This opening is for a BA/PM for FX and Documentation perimeter.
Role Responsibilities:
- Functional expert and SPOC to the business in Asia with cross asset domain knowledge. FX should be must-have.
- Role will be a Business Analyst project manager delivering the end to end project - Study lead, Program governance - Steering committees, Planning, budget. Strong functional understanding of a Front to Back to Finance view, Trade processing and Backoffice functions - Booking systems - Documentation, Settlement, Accounting, Risk & PNL, Reconciliation, Regulatory reporting.
- Stakeholder management, Steering of governance and strong relationship with business and clients
- Bring expertise on end-to-end process with a strong focus on improving end to end efficiency
- Coordinate and secure different approvals needed as necessary from the respective compliance and legal teams, outsourcing process validations etc
- Past experience in Application Migration programs [Moving from Legacy - Target Applications]
- Should work as the Study leader for the project driving the front to back study, target architecture definition, running the study governance, Gap analysis and produce business requirements documents.
- Project manager on the different topics allocated, manage end-to-end project on Scoping, execution, testing and production.
- Functional expert on the domain, conduct end to end studies with architecture and solution definition
- Production support where intervention is required on a functional expertise level.
- Perform end-to-end tests, plan and coordinate UAT, change management and go-live support.
- Able to work in a matrix environment building a strong relationship with Regional and Central IT teams and clients
- Collaborate and follow up with development teams regionally/globally to establish IT Solutions and ensure timely delivery of the IT Solution
- Pre-empt and escalate any risks/issues to management/steering committees in a timely manner
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor's in Information Technology or related fields
- Must have 10 years of experience Business Analyst / Project Management experience. Overall experience not more than 25 years
- Transversal front to back project implementation experience is required
- Accounting, group reporting chains
- Experience with FO stakeholders as sponsors.
- This is a hands-on role, which will help the candidate develop a good understanding of Global Markets business processes across Front to Back layers, strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy when defining business specifications and testing scenarios.
- Ability to understand transversal architecture in a Capital Markets context
- Basic technical analysis skills on systems interfacing, identify gaps and propose resolutions
- Knowledge on Trade life cycle
- Ability to work with stakeholders across geographies
- Previous experience in working in Matrix organizations
- Ability to perform data extractions from systems based on user requests
