Our client, a Japanese-listed consulting firm specializing in human capital development and organizational development, is seeking a Consultant to join their Singapore office.
The firm primarily supports major Japanese multinational corporations across the Asia-Oceania region (local subsidiaries and regional headquarters), focusing on organizational localization initiatives, leadership development, and talent strategy.
This role involves end-to-end consulting responsibilities - from organizational diagnosis and problem identification to solution design, delivery coordination, and implementation support.
Responsibilities
- Assess client organizations human capital and organizational challenges through stakeholder interviews and analysis
- Identify key organizational development issues and propose tailored solutions
- Design customized human capital and organizational development strategies
- Prepare and deliver client proposals and presentations
- Coordinate and assign appropriate delivery teams, including external consultants
- Support contract finalization and project setup
- Facilitate project meetings and manage implementation progress
- Provide ongoing advisory and coordination support throughout execution
- Manage end-to-end project timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables
Requirements & Preferences
(Must)
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in both English and Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) is required, as the client is mainly Japanese company in Southeast Asia
- Experience managing and coordinating multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work proactively and independently with limited information
- Willingness and ability to travel within the Asia-Oceania region (approximately 12 trips per year)
