Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to lead daily site operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely project delivery through effective supervision, coordination, and resource management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities to complete work on schedule and meet project specifications
- Coordinate workflow with site workers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project progress
- Monitor project timelines and daily work progress, reporting issues or delays to the Project Manager
- Enforce compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) standards, regulations, and company policies
- Conduct site inspections to identify and resolve potential issues proactively
- Manage site materials and equipment to minimize wastage and optimize resource use
- Maintain detailed records of site activities, manpower, and materials for accurate documentation
- Provide technical guidance and support to site workers and contractors to ensure quality and safety
Required competencies and certifications
- Possess a valid Building Construction Supervisors Safety (BCSS) certificate
- Minimum ITE / Diploma in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields
- At least 2-5 years of relevant site supervisory experience in construction projects
- Familiarity with local building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, site reporting software) to support site documentation and reporting
- Ability to communicate effectively in English to liaise with workers of diverse nationalities
- Willingness to work at various site locations in Singapore
