Construction Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee and coordinate steel structure works at construction sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervise and coordinate steel structure installation works on site

• Lead and manage site workers and subcontractors to meet project schedules

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and construction drawings

• Conduct daily site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues

• Enforce workplace safety practices in accordance with MOM and company safety policies

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and safety officers

• Prepare daily progress reports and assist in site documentation

Job Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in steel structure in the construction industry

• Proven experience supervising construction workers on site

• Possess Building Construction Supervisors Safety Certificate (BCSS) or equivalent recognized safety certification

• Good understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations

• Ability to lead site teams and work under tight schedules

• Able to communicate effectively with workers and site management

• Willing to work on construction sites and extended hours when required
