Job Summary
Lead construction teams to deliver projects on time while ensuring safety compliance, quality standards, and effective communication with stakeholders. Manage site inspections, reporting, and staff training to support project success.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate construction teams to achieve quality work within strict deadlines
- Monitor construction processes and conduct training and team-building sessions to enhance team performance
- Enforce adherence to health and safety regulations on all sites at all times
- Perform inspections of equipment, materials, and construction sites to ensure compliance and quality
- Schedule and lead regular meetings with vendors, site inspectors, managers, and staff to align project goals
- Prepare and present reports, budgets, and project plans to relevant stakeholders for informed decision-making
- Collaborate closely with architects and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
- Stay updated on safety codes and construction industry advancements to maintain best practices
- Assist in recruiting and training new staff to build a competent workforce
- Manage paperwork and travel to multiple construction sites as required to oversee operations
- Lead workers by providing clear instructions and report progress to the company general manager and site project manager
- Interpret construction drawings and measurements accurately knowledge of quantity surveying (QS) is advantageous
Required competencies and certifications
- High school diploma with 10-20 years of relevant construction site experience
- Proven experience in the construction industry
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
- Ability to maintain focus and composure under pressure
- Capability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience in a leadership role within construction projects recommended
- Background in quantity surveying (QS) considered a plus

- Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays
- Salaries: $3000 - $4500
