Job Description

. Managing and motivating site foremen and teams.
. Ensuring all equipment needed is available on site.
. Ensuring budget costs relating to wages, contractors,materials, and equipment aren't exceeded.
. Approving purchase requests.
. Ensuring the construction process starts and ends on time,and ensuring daily and weekly deadlines are met.
. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and all otherregulations.
. Issuing SI's and VOs to project management.
. Manage resources required on site.
. liaising with the client, other construction professionalsand, sometimes, members of the public
. coordinating and supervising construction workers
. selecting tools and materials
. making safety inspections and ensuring construction and sitesafety
. checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
. maintaining quality control procedures
. Manage workplace safety in accordance to safety and healthregulations.
. Monitor quality of construction to ensure compliance withbuilding control regulations.
. Monitor the progress of construction to ensure it adheres tothe project timeline.
. Negotiate with relevant parties to ensure projects arecompleted on time and within budget.
. Plan work schedules to ensure project plans are carried outas planned.
. Prepare reports to track the progress and cost of theproject.
. Conductingongoing quality inspections.
