The Construction Site Manager is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities at the project site, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements in Singapore. The role involves coordinating site operations, supervising workers and subcontractors, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all on-site construction activities.
Ensure work progresses according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedule.
Monitor project progress and prepare regular progress reports for management and clients.
Resolve site issues and coordinate with consultants, engineers, and subcontractors.
Supervise site engineers, supervisors, and construction workers.
Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Ensure proper manpower allocation and productivity on site.
Ensure compliance with Singapore workplace safety regulations and site safety procedures.
Implement and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) policies.
Conduct regular safety briefings and inspections.
Liaise with safety officers to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure construction works meet required quality standards and specifications.
Conduct inspections and monitor workmanship.
Ensure proper documentation of inspections and approvals.
Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and authorities.
Attend site meetings and coordinate project requirements.
Ensure proper documentation of site activities, progress reports, and site instructions.
Monitor the use of construction materials and equipment.
Coordinate with procurement teams for timely delivery of materials.
Ensure proper storage and utilization of materials on site.
National Trade Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum 5-10 years of relevant construction site management experience in Singapore.
Experience managing building, infrastructure, or M&E construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction methods and site management practices.
Familiar with Singapore building regulations and WSH requirements.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
WSH Safety Supervisor / Safety Course for Project Managers certification.
Knowledge of BCA regulations and project management practices.
Based primarily at construction sites.
May require working extended hours to meet project deadlines.
