Job Description

  1. Project management services, especially plumbing & sanitary works to all construction, renovation, A&A, infrastructure improvement and upgrading related works campus-wide to represent the interest of client.
  2. Negotiating with clients and subcontractors involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Help preparing tenders and contract bids.
  4. Oversee a Project Coordinator and a Draftsman to ensure all projects are executed smoothly from pre-construction stage, design stage, construction stage till post-construction stage.
  5. Conduct preliminary site feasibility studies and recommend feasible planning proposal for each project.
  6. To plan and develop a systematic means of communications amongst parties engaged by Client to ensure every information is received and acted upon at the appropriate time.
  7. To monitor actions taken by parties engaged by Client including its progress status to ensure each planned milestone target is met.
  8. Ensuring adherence to building legislation and standards of performance, quality, cost and safety
  9. To propose, identify and evaluate cost-benefit effects arising from the actions of parties engaged by Client.
  10. To identify the bottle-necks of various activities or possible delays. Recommend ways and means to resolve them.
  11. Arranging submissions to local authorities
  12. Arranging building inspections by relevant authorities
  13. Chair every progress meeting with users, contractors, consultants, vendors and act as the recording sectary (in the absence of the Project Coordinator) of each progress.
  14. Establishing and managing budgets, controlling expenditure and ensuring the efficient use of resources
  15. To circulate Minutes to all parties and monitor each actionable item is acted on time.
  16. Ensure timely submission of all variation orders, its valuation and final account closure.
  17. Wverseeing the selection, training and performance of staff and subcontractors
  18. Able to work on Sat, Sun & overnight
