Construction Site Engineer

Job Summary

Oversee and manage construction projects to ensure timely completion while maintaining quality and safety standards. Coordinate site activities with teams and stakeholders, resolve discrepancies in drawings, and implement corrective actions to uphold project integrity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects and monitor site progress to ensure on-time completion
• Ensure all works comply with the Project Quality & Safety Plan, contract requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Coordinate, monitor, and control site works with the operations team and sub-contractors according to project plans
• Review construction drawings and identify discrepancies for timely resolution
• Liaise effectively with clients and consultants to facilitate project communication and alignment
• Implement corrective and preventive actions effectively and maintain accurate quality records
• Perform related ad-hoc duties as assigned

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognized by Professional Engineers Board (PEB) Singapore
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
• Strong planning, organizing, and project management skills demonstrated through managing construction projects
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels
• Ability to work independently and maintain motivation under pressure and tight deadlines
