Job Description

Job Responsibility & Duties:

  • Support the Safety Officer in the development and implementation of workplace safety and health (WSH) policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Organize and conduct safety training sessions for all levels of staff.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of safety audits, incidents, training, and compliance documents.
  • Collaborate with staff and management to drive continuous improvements in safety practices.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement practical mitigation strategies.
  • Develop, update, and coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills.
  • Take the lead or assist in safety-related initiatives and projects.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in WSH regulations, industry safety standards, and emerging trends.

Key Skills Required:

  • Possess of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)qualifications, Certificate in WSH
  • Certified in Safety Management Officer
  • Possess at least 5 years of practical work experience inthe field of health and safety in building construction
  • Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related compliance
  • Possess good leadership, good communication skills,organising abilities and independent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel andPower Point.
