Job Responsibility & Duties:
- Support the Safety Officer in the development and implementation of workplace safety and health (WSH) policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions for all levels of staff.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain comprehensive records of safety audits, incidents, training, and compliance documents.
- Collaborate with staff and management to drive continuous improvements in safety practices.
- Perform risk assessments and implement practical mitigation strategies.
- Develop, update, and coordinate emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Take the lead or assist in safety-related initiatives and projects.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in WSH regulations, industry safety standards, and emerging trends.
Key Skills Required:
- Possess of Workplace Safety & Health (WSH)qualifications, Certificate in WSH
- Certified in Safety Management Officer
- Possess at least 5 years of practical work experience inthe field of health and safety in building construction
- Good knowledge of WSH Act and other WSH related compliance
- Possess good leadership, good communication skills,organising abilities and independent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Excel andPower Point.
