Construction Project Manager (Landed Residential)

Responsibilities

. Prepare clear and concise project reports and provide regular updates directly to the CEO

. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and manage submissions (PP, BP, TOP, etc.)

. Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings for proper site execution

. Coordinate and work closely with architects, engineers, surveyors, and other specialists (e.g., pool contractors)

. Oversee and monitor subcontractors on-site to ensure works are carried out properly, safely, and according to specifications

. Ensure smooth day-to-day site operations and coordination between different trades

. Conduct regular site checks to verify work quality, progress, and compliance with drawings

. Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities on project and contractual matters

. Provide regular progress updates to management

Key Strengths & Requirements

We are seeking a candidate with thefollowing core capabilities:

1. Landed Housing Experience (Must Have)
Must have hands-on experience in landed residential construction projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

2. Reporting Skills
Proficient in reporting directly to the CEO, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively.

3. Structural Knowledge
Strong understanding of structural drawings, with the ability to interpret and apply them accurately on site.

4. Regulatory Processes
Familiar with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) procedures, including PP, BP, and sales permits.
Possess working knowledge of contract law and SIA contract conditions to ensure compliance and proper project administration.

5. Client& Supplier Management
Strong client management skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors.
An established network of reliable trades (e.g., carpenters, tilers) is highly advantageous.

6. Industry Insight
Strong understanding of construction materials, specifications, market trends, and overall project concepts within the landed residential sector.

7. Collaborative Skills
Able to work closely and effectively with architects, surveyors, engineers, and other specialists (e.g., pool contractors) to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirement

. Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related construction field

. 5-10 years of experience in project management and/or site management for building projects

. Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing

. Ability to effectively collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve successful project delivery and meet established milestones and deliverables

. Proactive mindset in identifying and solving issues

. Ability to take charge of planning and organization of site resources and activities
