Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assist Project Manager in managing project planning, execution, schedule, cost, installation, testing and commissioning, handover project to customers.
- Manage, supervise project tasks with Site Supervisor, sub-contractor. Ensure complete preparation to allow smooth project execution and meet planned schedule.
- Preparation and submission of necessary documentation. Eg: Method of Statement (MOS), Risk Assessment (RA), etc.
- Manage the project site by overseeing the day-to-day running of all matters related to the construction of the project as designated by the Project Manager.
- Plan, implement and monitor the work schedules according to the master and detailed work programs.
- Conduct inspections and checks on work performed by all subcontractors.
- Assist in the evaluation and resolution of any discrepancies and problems arising during construction and which has an effect on quality of the works.
- Ensure that updated drawings including shop drawings are used by for all construction.
- Co-ordinate the handing over of completed works to the client and completion of the necessary rectification works.
- Prepare project-related reports as required by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering from recognized universities is required by the professional engineer's board.
- Minimum 3 years field and project planning experience in Singapore in large scale building / civil projects with main contractor.
- Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
- The ability to work with multiple projects.
- Excellent project management and supervision skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have Knowledge of policies, standards, and best practices.
