Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the execution and supervision of construction work activities in accordance with the project timeline.
• Oversee, coach, and mentor the entire project team under your leadership.
• Work closely with clients, inter-departments, sub-contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Oversee all construction work activities and ensure that the quality and quantity of work meet the project requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and schedule on-site work, selection of construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement usage, etc.
• Highlight any technical discrepancies and resolve any technical issues with the electrical / design teams.
• Ensure all work activities are in compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) policies and practices.
• Attend site meetings with project clients, sub-contractors, and vendors and provide updates on the site's progress.
• Prepare monthly reports for management.
• Attend site walk when required.

Requirements

• Minimum degree in engineering or equivalent, and above.
• Preferably with at least 5 years of working experience in construction industry.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Good in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to problem solve and time management.
• Knowledge of construction worksite safety practices.
• Pro-active, resourceful, and able to work with various stakeholders.
• 5.5 Working Days.
