Job Summary
Lead the design and execution of mechanical equipment and systems for construction projects, driving project delivery through effective planning, resource management, and stakeholder coordination to meet client and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop mechanical equipment and system designs and prepare material submissions that comply with technical specifications.
- Plan project costing and create master schedules to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Assess and determine labor and material resource requirements to support construction activities.
- Manage site operations including installation, manufacturing, safety compliance, testing, and commissioning to meet client requirements.
- Coordinate with LTA, Consultants, Civil Contractors, and System Wide Contractors to ensure seamless execution of installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
- Lead and direct Project Engineers, Supervisors, and Sub-Contractors to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to oversee project planning, execution, and construction progress.
- Define and communicate clear responsibilities and accountabilities for the construction team to align their objectives with overall business goals.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
