Job Summary
Manage daily construction site operations, coordinate with consultants and subcontractors, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to drive project progress and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage daily construction activities, including workforce allocation for site teams and subcontractors to meet project schedules
- Liaise with consultants to resolve site issues related to drawings, schedules, and as-built conditions to maintain project accuracy
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of works and adherence to timelines
- Organize housekeeping efforts by assigning responsibilities to Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain site orderliness
- Execute and follow up on Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) action plans as directed by Safety Officer or Project Manager to uphold safety standards
- Ensure timely delivery and quality compliance of construction materials such as steel and cement to support uninterrupted site operations
- Manage availability and scheduling of site plants and equipment (e.g., cranes, pumps, air compressors) to optimize site productivity
- Prepare and provide monthly progress claim information for Quantity Surveyors and collaborate with Site Engineer, Architectural Coordinator, and Site Quantity Surveyor to evaluate subcontractor claims accurately
- Attend and actively participate in consultant site meetings, technical meetings, and subcontractor meetings to facilitate communication and problem resolution
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 8 years of experience in construction site management
- Proven experience managing Singapore projects involving high-rise, mixed-development, or civil works
- BCA certification such as SCAL's Construction Superintendent or PMP certification
- MOM Safety Supervisor certification (advantageous but not mandatory)

- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and teams
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach to managing deadlines and site operations
