About the Company
We are a main contractor specializing in the construction of bungalow / landed residential houses. Due to project expansion, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee site operations and ensure timely, quality project delivery.
Job Scope & Responsibilities
- Overall planning, coordination, and supervision of bungalow construction projects
- Manage daily site operations to ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedule
- Coordinate with Chinese consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
- Monitor project progress, quality control, safety compliance, and workmanship standards
- Prepare and manage construction schedules, manpower planning, and site resources
- Ensure compliance with BCA, safety regulations, and statutory requirements
- Resolve site issues, technical challenges, and construction discrepancies
- Attend site meetings and report project status to management
- Control project costs and minimize wastage and rework
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in civil/building construction
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline
- Prior experience as a Construction Manager / Project Manager / Site Manager preferred
- Strong experience in bungalow / landed housing projects is highly advantageous
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building regulations
- Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders
- Good communication and reporting skills
