The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Construction Manager (Data Centre) to oversee the endtoend delivery of complex data centre construction projects across Singapore.
In this role, you'll lead all construction phasesfrom preconstruction planning through to final commissioningensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with CRS standards, client expectations, and all relevant regulations.
You'll act as the primary liaison between clients, consultants, general contractors, and subcontractors, playing a pivotal role in ensuring technical accuracy, operational success, and strong stakeholder engagement.
What You'll Be Doing
As the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the full lifecycle of data centre construction projects, including scheduling, site supervision, installation sequencing, and compliance with technical requirements and client scope.
- Delivering projects on time and within budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Managing contracts, budgets, forecasting, variations, commercial terms, and procurement schedules.
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting and mitigation of commercial risks.
- Ensuring full compliance with Singapore WSH regulations and site safety requirements.
- Overseeing inspections, quality controls, and adherence to CRS delivery standards.
- Supporting preconstruction planning, site readiness, scheduling, logistics, and material management.
- Coordinating with internal and external teams to minimise delays.
- Representing CRS onsite and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, GCs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ensuring timely communication and issue resolution.
- Maintaining detailed site records, progress logs, and providing regular project status reports.
- Preparing accurate documentation for commissioning and handover.
- Overseeing testing, commissioning, inspection, and completion of all systems in accordance with design and client requirements.
- Ensuring accurate asbuilt and O&M documentation.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager within commercial, industrial, or data centre environments.
- Strong understanding of construction workflows, installation sequencing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Knowledge of Singapore building codes, WSH regulations, and construction standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capability.
- Ability to problemsolve in highpressure environments.
- Proficiency with construction management software and digital documentation processes.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive handson experience in data centre or other highspec infrastructure projects.
