CONSTRUCTION MANAGER / CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGER

Job Description:
1. Take full ownership of the project schedule by closely monitoring site progress,
implementing corrective actions to address delays, and coordinating with the
project team to provide regular progress updates.
2. Coordinate site construction team activities and supervise field operations to
ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget. Assist in the
preparation, review, and technical evaluation of subcontract requisitions and
specification documents.
3. Prepare and manage project schedules, monitor progress, and identify
potential delays or deviations.
4. Implement and enforce compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)
regulations and applicable Singapore safety standards.
5. Monitor and control site materials to eliminate wastage and overstock, manage
company assets and equipment rentals for optimal utilization, and supervise
manpower and overtime to ensure cost-effective operations within or below
budget.
6. Ensure all work complies with building codes, regulations, and company
standards. Conduct regular site inspections and enforce adherence to safety
protocols and risk assessments.
7. Address and resolve site issues efficiently and professionally.

Requirements:
1. Diploma or Degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in steelworks.
3. Adaptable and capable of performing effectively under pressure while
consistently meeting tight deadlines.
4. Strong leadership and people management skills, complemented by excellent
communication, coordination, and interpersonal abilities.
5. Proficient in MS Office.
