Construction Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Independently manage construction activities and progress to meet project timelines and goals.
• Interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Plan and organise site setup, develop sequential job plans, and ensure cost, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives are met.
• Handle resource planning for site staff, subcontractors, and materials.
• Attend internal coordination, kick-off, toolbox, pre-start, and progress meetings.
• Supervise and monitor the performance of site teams and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment, including procurement and usage.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies with consultants before execution.
• Coordinate schedules for staff and subcontractors to align with project timelines.
• Review construction plans (site utilisation, hoisting, temporary utilities/offices).
• Ensure effective quality control through inspections and pre-handover checks.
• Verify the use of approved and compliant materials.
• Enforce safety compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to address construction matters.
• Maintain and submit all required project documentation accurately.
• Identify project risks and implement preventive solutions.
• Lead and motivate site teams for smooth project delivery.
• Prepare and monitor project budgets to control costs.
• Perform all duties following CCCC policies, procedures, and systems.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, preferably in residence building development or commercial building in Singapore
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving.
