CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Job Description

The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from planning to completion. The role ensures that all construction activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and regulatory requirements in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to completion.

• Manage site operations and ensure that construction works are completed according to design, schedule, and quality standards.

• Oversee site supervisors, subcontractors, and construction workers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

• Ensure compliance with Singapore building regulations, safety standards, and workplace safety requirements.

• Review construction drawings, technical documents, and project specifications.

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and project stakeholders.

• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor safety, quality, and progress.

• Identify and resolve construction issues, delays, or operational challenges.

• Prepare project reports and provide updates to company management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management or site management.

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, and safety regulations.

• Good leadership and team management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with different stakeholders.
