We are recruiting an experienced Construction Equipment Mechanic who can inspect, repair, and maintain heavy machinery (excavators, cranes, lifts, generators) to ensure operational safety and minimize downtime..
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance (lubricating, servicing) and repairs on diesel/gasoline engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions using computerized diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Site Support: Provide on-site field service to repair equipment, reducing downtime.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety inspections, ensure compliance with manufacturer standards, and follow company safety protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service reports, part usage logs, and job completion records.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in challenging environments, lift heavy objects, and use hand/power tools.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and service manuals.
