Construction driver

Job Description
1. Transport Materials & Equipment
-Safely deliver construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from project sites, warehouses, and suppliers.
-Load and unload materials when required.
2. Operate Company Vehicles
-Drive company vehicles such as lorries, tipper trucks, or vans in compliance with Singapore traffic laws.
-Ensure vehicle is used only for authorized work purposes.
3. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety
-Conduct daily vehicle checks(fuel, oil, brakes,lights,tires).
-Report any mechanical issues or accidents promptly.
-Keep the vehicle in good working condition.
4. Site Support Duties
-Assist site supervisors with ad-hoc tasks such as moving materials within site.
-Follow site safety rules and attend safety briefings when required.
5. Documentation & Records
-Maintain delivery records, mileage logs, and fuel usage.
-Collect and submit delivery orders(DOs) and related documents.
6. Compliance & Safety
-Adhere to Workplace Safety and Health(WSH)regulations.
-Wear required PPE when entering construction sites.
7.Coordination&Communication
-Coordinate with site supervisors, storekeepers, and office staff regarding delivery schedule.
-Inform management of delays or issues affecting deliveries.
8. General Duties
-Perform other duties as assigned by management related to transport and site operations.

Qualifications:

• Valid Singapore Class 3/4 driver's license with a minimum of 5 years of lorry driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Prior experience as a lorry driver, particularly in the transportation or logistics sector, is mandatory.
• Strong commitment to adhering to schedules, safety regulations, and transportation laws.
• Good physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and cargo movement as required.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Candidates accepting shift working, and overtime working is a plus
