Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise construction site activities to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise site workers and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution and timely completion
- Track and report site progress to ensure projects stay on schedule
- Liaise with clients, construction management, consultants, project teams, site staff, and contractors to facilitate communication and collaboration
- Organize and lead regular site meetings and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and contractual compliance
- Interpret construction drawings and calculations to manage site materials and work plans effectively
- Collaborate with Quantity Surveyors to monitor work plans, claims, and variations orders (VO)
- Identify, manage, and resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize project delays
- Report site matters and progress updates to the project manager clearly and accurately
- Attend on-site meetings and enforce safe work procedures to ensure compliance with client, regulatory, environmental, safety, and health requirements
- Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management as needed
Required competencies and certifications
- Minimum Diploma in a relevant field
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in Construction Project Management
- Strong analytical, writing, and interpersonal skills applied to understanding construction drawings and project documentation
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Hands-on approach to managing construction site activities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- BCSS Certification is an advantage
