Consolidating Accountant

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the primary purpose of the role is to ensure the Epsilon group consolidated financial results are accurate and reported to schedule under a strong financial control framework. To ensure the quarterly and monthly financial reports requested from KT group and monthly consolidated management report of Epsilon group are accurate and reported to schedule under a strong financial control framework. The role involves a high level of interaction with senior management within the Epsilon Group and KT group. The role has clearly defined core responsibilities but will also include involvement in significant ad hoc issues that arise across the business including process reengineering, systems, working capital management and inter company initiatives.

Responsibility
Reporting and Accounting

• Ensuring the consolidated financialresults are accurate and reported to schedule under a strong financial controlframework
• Preparationand review of the consolidation and IC processes under IFRS
• Preparation of monthly and quarterly group consolidation reports, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow statements, Intercompany reconciliations, Footnotes

Ownership, implementation, and advice on accounting policies

• Ensuring company compliance of relevant accounting policies and that the business understands their impact/importance

Management of the external audit processes and adherence to the financial control framework

• Active engagement with external auditors to ensure a smooth year-end audit and the timely resolution of judgement areas throughout the year including the timely filing of the consolidated accounts.
• Develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with minimum of 5 years experience in a multinational organisation

• Knowledge of consolidation accounting procedures
• Experience in technology, telecommunication sector is a plus
• Ability to act and operateindependently
• Be very hands on and possess a can do attitude
• Proficient in MS Office applications
