Conference Content Producer
About The Role
We are looking for a curious and proactive Conference Content Producer to join our Events Team. In this role, you will research the cybersecurity landscape, craft programme ideas, and help shape content for GovWare and satellite events. You will provide input for event programmes, newsletters, and short-form social media content that highlights key trends and insights in cybersecurity. You will work closely with industry experts, speakers, and internal teams to develop engaging sessions, panels, and presentations that deliver high-value insights to attendees.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the conference production team to develop a clear understanding each event's objectives, positioning, and target audience.
- Conduct in-depth research on the cybersecurity landscape and emerging technologies to shape commercially successful editorial direction and content strategy. This includes analysing sector and geographic markets, value propositions, competitive events, market mapping, and regional/global industry dynamics to identify new content opportunities.
- Develop preliminary session themes, panel concepts, and draft programme agendas for GovWare and its satellite events.
- Engage with industry experts, thought leaders, and speakers to validate content and gather feedback.
- Support technical content for newsletters and social media posts that highlight key trends and insights.
- Engage industry experts, thought leaders, and prospective speakers through phone, face-to-face, and desktop research to validate content direction and gather strategic insights.
- Identify and curate high-calibre speakers, panellists, and contributors who can deliver impactful and relevant perspectives.
- Identify and curate key attendees for closed-door forums, executive roundtables, and invitation-only discussions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and other internal teams to ensure event content aligns with organisational objectives and audience needs.
- Maintain and continuously update a structured repository of research insights, draft topics, speaker pipelines, and content assets for current and future events.
