COMPUTER OPERATIONS AND NETWORK MANAGER

Ensure smooth operation of marine-specific software(navigation systems, fleet management systems, etc.)

Manage data centers, backups, and disaster recovery systems
Design, configure, and maintain network systems (LAN,WAN, satellite communication systems)

Ensure stable communication between vessels and shore-based offices

Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
Implement and enforce cyber security policies in line with maritime regulations

Protect office systems from cyber threats, malware, and unauthorized access

Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments
Coordinate with ship crew and engineers for IT-related troubleshooting

Ensure compliance withmaritime IT standards and regulations
Monitor system performance and ensure minimal downtime

Schedule preventive maintenance and system upgrades
Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VPN,fire walls)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Ability to handle emergency system failures
