To support our expanding business, we are seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our IT and network systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and communication systems across multiple locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and connectivity issues in a timely manner, preferably remotely.
- Monitor network performance and security, ensuring reliable access to business systems.
- Manage LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewall systems.
- Provide technical support during and after working hours and assistance to staff in office and retail environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.
- Work closely with vendors and service providers on upgrades and maintenance.
- Assist in IT infrastructure planning to support future business growth.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- Experience as a Network Technician, IT Support, or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing/switching.
- Familiarity with firewalls, wireless networks, and network security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
