Job Overview:
CAD engineering / Reverse Engineering to scan multiple parts in box layout into a 3D mesh model, extract the contours to silhouettes in 2D for shadow board printing.
Job Responsibilities:
- 3D scanning with Revopoint Trackit optical system
- CAD / reverse engineering skills using QuickSurface/RevoDesign Pro to extract contours from STL mesh model into 2D DXF for printing
- Operate JINGWEI electric oscillating foam cutting machine model SC1311 to make shadow boards
- Project execution of shadow board making for multiple aircraft programs landing gear parts and tools
- Coordinate with end users to design new shadow boards
Job Requirements
- Diploma / ITE / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
- Entry level candidates welcome; relevant internship or project experience in CAD / 3D scanning is an advantage
- Comfortable working in a shopfloor / workshop environment
- Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices
