About the role
Our client is seeking a Compliance Quality Assurance Analyst to join their compliance team in Singapore. This role supports a Payment Services Act regulated business and sits close to day to day compliance operations, controls, and risk management.
The role is suited for a compliance professional with a strong AML, KYC, and CDD operations background, who is looking to grow into a broader compliance assurance and control focused role.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance and review activities across compliance operations, including KYC onboarding, periodic reviews, and transaction monitoring
- Review AML and KYC cases using a risk based approach, identifying gaps, trends, and potential control weaknesses
- Act as a reviewer or checker on higher risk cases, sanctions screening, and escalated transaction alert.
- Support investigations into suspicious or unusual activity and assist with STR related reviews where required
- Work closely with Compliance Operations, Risk, and other internal stakeholders to ensure consistent application of controls
- Contribute to process improvements, SOP updates, and control enhancements
- Support UAT, training, and remediation initiatives arising from QA findings or regulatory updates
- Assist with management reporting, audits, and regulatory reviews
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in compliance, AML, KYC, or financial crime within banks, fintechs, payments, or digital asset firms
- Hands on experience with KYC, CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, or AML investigations
- Experience working in a MAS Payment Services Act regulated environment
- Familiarity with sanctions screening, adverse media checks, and escalation workflows
- Strong attention to detail with a solid controls and risk mindset
- Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment
