Compliance - Payments

My client is a leading Payments firm, licensed under Singapore's Payment Services Act. We are recruiting for a Compliance mandate to be based in the Singapore office. You will be given the opportunity to support the global business on all compliance related matters in the region, and we are looking for candidates who are looking to scale their career in a leading name in the industry.

Responsibilities for this Compliance - Payments role

  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to support the organisation's growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
  • Oversee enterprise-wide risk management, internal controls, AML/CFT programmes, sanctions compliance, and fraud prevention frameworks.
  • Review and approve key policies, budgets, business plans, and material transactions, while monitoring management performance.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders where required.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with statutory obligations.

Requirements for this Compliance - Payments role

  • At least 4 years of Compliance experience in the relevant areas within the fintech and payments industry, or wider financial services industry.
  • Background in Compliance, with hands-on experience in areas such as regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, KYC/CDD.
  • Ability to satisfy the Monetary Authority of Singapore's Fit and Proper criteria, including integrity, competence, and financial soundness.
