Role Overview
This role involves developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, managing regulatory relationships, and supporting new market expansion and product launches while mitigating compliance risks.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to MAS regulations, Payment Services Act, AML/CFT guidelines, and other relevant laws.
- Oversee compliance for cross-border transactions, including sanctions screening and reporting obligations.
- Draft, review, and update compliance policies and procedures aligned with global standards.
- Implement controls for new products and services.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and gap analyses.
- Monitor emerging regulations and advise on impact to business.
- Promote a strong compliance culture across the organization.
- Act as primary point of contact for MAS and other regulators.
- Manage audits, regulatory examinations, and respond to inquiries.
- Supervise AML/KYC processes, suspicious transaction reporting, and sanctions screening.
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of compliance experience in payments
- Strong knowledge of MAS regulations, Payment Services Act, AML/CFT requirements.
- Experience with cross-border payment compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
