Support the Head of Compliance, Singapore, in establishing and implementing a robust compliance programme to ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Handle regulatory submissions, enquiries, and audits, and maintain strong working relationships with regulatory authorities, including coordination of any regulator on-site inspections where required.
Lead and support applications for, and the ongoing maintenance of, payment services licences and other relevant business licences across jurisdictions where Ant International conducts its international businesses.
Provide sound advice and practical recommendations to relevant stakeholders on regulatory and licensing matters relating to payment services licensed entities.
Identify, assess, and manage compliance and regulatory risks, and act as a point of escalation for any policy or regulatory breaches to senior management.
Assist in formulating, reviewing, and maintaining compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Conduct periodic internal compliance training sessions and compliance risk assessments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
7-12 years of relevant regulatory, compliance, or related experience.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in regulatory and compliance matters.
Good understanding of payment services licensed institutions and applicable legal and regulatory requirements in Singapore.
Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and perform under pressure to meet deadlines.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Prior experience liaising with Singapore regulators is preferred.
Experience in e-commerce, banking, payments, or financial services is preferred.
