Compliance Manager / Senior Compliance Manager

A leading global investment management platform with a strong presence in real assets is seeking a Compliance Manager / Senior Compliance Manager to support its Asia Pacific operations. This role will work closely with investment, asset management, and global compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management across regional investment activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compliance advisory support to investment and asset management teams across APAC.
  • Interpret and advise on regulatory developments relevant to asset management and real estate investments.
  • Ensure adherence to MAS regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies.
  • Review marketing materials, investor communications, and investment documentation for compliance.
  • Support regulatory filings, reporting obligations, and licensing requirements.
  • Conduct compliance monitoring reviews and thematic assessments across business units.
  • Maintain internal compliance registers (conflicts of interest, gifts & entertainment, personal trading).
  • Assist in implementing and enhancing compliance policies, frameworks, and procedures.
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, and Operations to strengthen governance and risk controls.
  • Support internal and external compliance audits and remediation initiatives.
  • Deliver compliance training and promote a strong compliance culture across teams.
  • Participate in regional compliance initiatives and global compliance projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
  • 612 years of compliance experience within asset management, financial institutions, or private markets.
  • Strong understanding of MAS regulatory frameworks and CMS licensing requirements.
  • Experience supporting investment activities, funds, or capital markets transactions.
  • Exposure to real estate, infrastructure, or private markets investments is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work across global teams.
  • Professional certifications (ICA, CAMS, CFA, legal qualification) are advantageous.
