Job Description

Our client is a well-established international private equity firm with a strong global presence and a growing footprint in Asia. With a disciplined investment approach and a reputation for excellence, they are seeking a high-calibre Compliance Manager to support their Singapore operations.

Role Overview

This is a key role responsible for overseeing compliance matters in Singapore, with a particular focus on regulatory requirements under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), including Licensed Fund Management Company (LFMC) obligations. The role also incorporates corporate secretarial responsibilities to ensure robust governance and regulatory adherence.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Regulatory

  • Lead and manage all compliance matters in line with MAS regulations, particularly LFMC requirements

  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures

  • Act as the primary liaison with MAS and other regulatory bodies

  • Conduct compliance monitoring, reviews, and risk assessments

  • Provide regulatory advice to internal stakeholders on Singapore compliance requirements

  • Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings and reporting

Corporate Secretarial

  • Oversee corporate secretarial matters for Singapore entities

  • Coordinate board meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain statutory registers

  • Ensure compliance with local corporate governance and statutory requirements

  • Liaise with external corporate secretarial service providers where applicable

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field

  • Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant compliance experience within asset management, private equity, or financial services

  • Strong hands-on experience with MAS regulations, particularly LFMC framework

  • Solid understanding of Singapore corporate governance and corporate secretarial practices

  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment
