Role Overview
This is a key role responsible for overseeing compliance matters in Singapore, with a particular focus on regulatory requirements under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), including Licensed Fund Management Company (LFMC) obligations. The role also incorporates corporate secretarial responsibilities to ensure robust governance and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Regulatory
Lead and manage all compliance matters in line with MAS regulations, particularly LFMC requirements
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures
Act as the primary liaison with MAS and other regulatory bodies
Conduct compliance monitoring, reviews, and risk assessments
Provide regulatory advice to internal stakeholders on Singapore compliance requirements
Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings and reporting
Corporate Secretarial
Oversee corporate secretarial matters for Singapore entities
Coordinate board meetings, prepare minutes, and maintain statutory registers
Ensure compliance with local corporate governance and statutory requirements
Liaise with external corporate secretarial service providers where applicable
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field
Minimum 8 - 10 years of relevant compliance experience within asset management, private equity, or financial services
Strong hands-on experience with MAS regulations, particularly LFMC framework
Solid understanding of Singapore corporate governance and corporate secretarial practices
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment
