Operations of the Group include underwriting, customer service and loan recovery.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-orientedCompliance Managerto build, oversee and enhance our compliance framework and processes. This role will ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, manage grievance redressal processes, and support continuous improvement. The role includes helping build scalable and compliant processes in operations, marketing, product, risk and IT. This role is also responsible for overseeing grievance redressal from retail customers and regulators. Overseeing regulatory compliance redressal. The ideal candidate will have good leadership skills, being able to navigate in compliance framework, has understanding on operational compliance building, and a passion for continuous improvement. Ideal candidate should combine legal/regulatory and operational skills

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Law, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in legal, compliance or complaints handling
  • Experience in FinTech, telco or regulated financial services highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of grievance redressal frameworks and audit requirements
  • Process-oriented with problem-solving skills for complex issues
  • Proven ability to implement scalable and automated processes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems, and case management tools
  • Highly fluent in English

Responsibilities:

  • Build and oversee end-to-end compliance and grievance redressal processes and teams
  • Ensure timely and fair resolution of customer and regulatory complaints
  • Constant monitoring, analysis and bringing to full compliance with help of other department products, customer interfaces, risk, KYC, legal documents, etc.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex or sensitive cases
  • Liaise with legal, operational, product, IT, finance and other teams
  • Develop and implement standardized compliance procedures and SOPs
  • Create escalation matrices and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Drive automation and digitalization of compliance workflows
  • Collaborate with IT and operations to integrate compliance systems
  • Monitor trends and conduct root cause analysis
  • Establish quality benchmarks and audit mechanisms
  • Prepare periodic compliance and complaints management reports for senior management and regulators
  • Identify systemic issues and recommend preventive actions
  • Mentor and manage the grievance redressal team
  • Conduct training on compliance, complaint handling, and customer empathy
  • Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
