Salary: SGD 4500- 5500

Brief Description:

Role primarily works with Singapore Legal Country team comprising of 10 lawyers. There will also be engagement with senior management, cross business and functional teams. Job scope includes activities related to legal operations, technology issues, budget/expenses, monitoring of risk/controls, intake and reporting of litigation/legal actions. Candidate will be required to acquire a good understanding of the team's broad range of activities, risk issues and control environment, applicable to our policies and procedures, in order to carry out role.

Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information. Applies judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities:

• Attend at office location at Changi Business Park on daily basis mainly to handle legal documents intake process.
• Preference for half day work arrangement commencing around 11 am to 4 pm.
• Supports activities related to legal operations, technology, budget/expenses, risk/controls, litigation/discovery/settlements or administration
• Performs varied work requests from multiple sources that may have tight deadlines
• Responsible for tasks associated with programs and projects
• Provides analysis of matters in support of resolution of situations or to formulate an approach
• Liaise with other control and functional stakeholders in support of project initiatives
• Works closely with the manager to complete tasks assigned
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the client's reputation and safeguarding the team, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy/procedures, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 2-5 years experience in corporate legal department, law firm, financial services, consulting, technology firm or related industry
• Must have attention to detail, strong verbal communication and listening skills
• Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry

• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
