Toobit is a rapidly growing global cryptocurrency exchange committed to providing secure, efficient, and innovative trading services. As we expand our operations globally, we are looking for a Compliance Associate to join our Singapore office and support our international compliance initiatives.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Compliance Associate with a background in law or a related discipline, and hands-on experience in preparing compliance application materials. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and fluent in English (native level), with a solid understanding of regulatory documentation requirements and application workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and organize compliance documentation for regulatory license applications across various jurisdictions (e.g. VASP, MSB, etc.).
- Liaise with legal counsel, service providers, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely submission of materials.
- Support the tracking and maintenance of compliance obligations, deadlines, and licensing Review and proofread compliance-related documents, including policies, legal statements, and official correspondence.
- Conduct basic regulatory research to support expansion strategies in new markets.
- Maintain internal compliance documentation databases and filing systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law, Legal Studies, Business Law, or a related field.
- 13 years of experience in compliance, legal operations, or regulatory supportpreferably in fintech, crypto, or financial services.
- Demonstrated experience preparing documentation for license applications or regulatory submissions.
- Native-level fluency in English to liaise with English-speaking stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Based in Singapore or willing to relocate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with cryptocurrency, VASP, or fintech regulatory filings.
- Familiarity with global compliance regimes (e.g. MAS, FinCEN, FCA, MiCA) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
