For our Singapore office, we are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate to support our compliance support services for financial institutions.
Job Description
- Assist financial institutions in meeting compliance requirements under financial regulations
- Execute outsourced compliance tasks for financial institutions, including customer due diligence (CDD), fit and proper assessment, outsourcing reviews, and preparing of quarterly and annual returns
- Research and draft advice on compliance with financial and other applicable regulations to financial institutions
- Maintain compliance calendars for multiple client entities, ensuring all deadlines are tracked and met
- Liaise with clients to obtain required documents, clarifications, and approvals
- Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally
- Help gather and prepare documentation requested by regulators or auditors on behalf of clients
- Maintain accurate client files and auditready documentation
- General assistance
Skills/Requirements:
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance and/or licencing within financial institutions orcompliance consulting firms
- Knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, with a particular focus on Capital Markets Services
- Understanding of compliance requirements under financial regulations, such as the Securities and Futures Act 2001 and/or the Financial Advisers Act 2001and their subsidiary regulations, or aspects thereof
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Banking or Accountancy
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, writing and communication skills
- Proactive team player who can guide others and work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple assignments

- Collaboration and work with English-speaking clients, preparing records and communication with the regulator therefore, good command of and fluency in English is essential
