As a Complex Solution Architect, you'll be instrumental in driving transformational deals for our largest enterprise clients, accelerating the adoption of Microsoft technologies and unlocking significant business value. You will collaborate across functions to deliver innovative, multi-disciplinary solutions that shape the future of digital transformation.

Role Overview

As a Complex Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end solution throughout the lifecycle of the sales engagement into delivery and will serve as the face of the solution to the client and internal Microsoft stakeholders. You are expected to craft solutions that connect client ambitions with Microsoft's cutting-edge capabilities. You'll lead the design, qualification, and delivery of enterprise-scale solutions, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, and guiding clients through their digital transformation journeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Orchestration & Integration Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of complex, cross-functional solutions. Form the comprehensive solution design team by engaging additional SMEs and solution-area architects. Align strategy across technical, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure cohesive solution design execution. Shape the solution by establishing scope and solution components that match the client's demand profile. Infuse innovation in complex solutions by leading with AI and industry-specific transformation initiatives.
• Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with client C-suite and Microsoft leadership. Championing the customer's voice throughout solution creation, ensuring alignment with business goals. Shape deal strategies and solution architectures that resonate with executive stakeholders.
• Financial & Commercial Strategy Partner with commercial teams to develop robust financial models that support deal viability. Ensure solutions deliver measurable value and align with both client and Microsoft investment strategies.
• Deal Leadership Stay engaged through the full sales lifecycle, from opportunity identification through contract execution. Navigate complexity, remove blockers, and ensure seamless delivery of strategic deals. Present the technical and delivery solution in key discussions with internal review boards and client stakeholders.
• Risk & Innovation Management Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement. Identify opportunities for innovation in solution design and delivery.
• Mentorship & Capability Building Coach and mentor cross-functional teams to foster excellence. Contribute to the development of organizational capabilities and best practices in complex solutioning.
  
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-scale solutioning in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to understand client needs and translate strategy into actionable solutions. Ability to create solution roadmaps show how a client's business goals can be achieved over time.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to influence C-level executives. Prepared to challenge Microsoft and client leadership respectfully to effect positive changes when needed.
• Deep understanding of digital transformation, AI, cloud technologies, and portfolio modernization strategies. A collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation and customer success, and a tendency to work broadly with technical SMEs.
  
  

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Education bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Experience 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise consulting, delivery management, or a related role.
• Technical Expertise Deep expertise in cloud and infrastructure technologies, digital transformation initiatives, and enterprise solutioning at scale.
• Leadership Skills Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
• Certifications Relevant certifications (e.g. TOGAF, PMP, ITIL, Azure, AWS, GCP, SAP or similar) are preferred.
