Your Role And Responsibilities
As a Complex Project Manager, you will manage IBM's most complex hybrid cloud client engagements and bring deep expertise in
AWS cloud environments. You will lead cross-functional teams in delivering solutions that address complex IT, business, and client requirements across hybrid and multicloud ecosystems.
- Manage Project Scope and Deliverables Lead project teams in delivering end-to-end solutions for complex IT and business requirements. Maintain full accountability for scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, ensuring alignment with agreed business metrics, terms, and conditions.
- Apply Project Management Best Practices Utilize advanced project management methodologies and tools for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management to ensure successful delivery across hybrid multicloud environments, with a strong emphasis on AWS-based solutions.
- Oversee Contract Delivery and Financial Milestones Leverage tools such as IPPF to manage costs, billing, and invoicing in alignment with contract delivery milestones, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial operations.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams Collaborate with global, cross-disciplinary teams including cloud architects, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet client expectations, particularly within AWS and hybrid cloud ecosystems.
- Track Progress and Performance Monitor, analyze, and report on project performance, proactively identifying risks or deviations and implementing corrective actions to maintain delivery excellence.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
- Managing Complex Projects: Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. Experience with managing large-scale, complex projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical components, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Project Management Techniques: Experience in utilizing project management methodologies and tools for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management to drive project success.
- Contract Management: Experience with managing contracts, including understanding terms and conditions, contractual deliverables, and payment processing using tools like IPPF.
- IT Solution Delivery: Experience in delivering complex IT solutions that meet client requirements, involving collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Business Measurement and Analysis: Experience with using business measurements and metrics to track project progress, identify areas for improvement, and inform data-driven decisions.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
- Hybrid Cloud Solutions Knowledge: Experience with hybrid cloud platforms, including design, implementation, and management of complex IT solutions. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and their integration with existing infrastructure.
- Advanced Project Management Tools: Experience with project management tools and methodologies beyond IPPF, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall, to drive project success and improve delivery outcomes.
- IT Service Management Expertise: Experience with IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL, to ensure alignment with industry best practices and standards.
