About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven and execution-focused Compensation & Benefits Specialist to support our APAC region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating compensation, incentive, and performance processes across multiple countries ensuring market competitiveness, fairness, and operational excellence. This role requires strong analytical capability, project planning skills, and effective communication across different countries and cultures.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate country-level compensation structures, performance bonus schemes, and incentive plans, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Review the overall APAC compensation and benefits strategy to ensure internal equity, market competitiveness, and regional alignment.
- Lead the incentive / commission plan review and optimization, ensuring schemes are fair, motivating, and aligned with business goals.
- Landing and coordinating the annual promotion/increment and quarterly performance appraisal cycle, including timelines, communication checkpoints, and deliverables.
- Coordinate across countries, working closely with Country Heads, HODs and local HRs to review progress and provide professional support and advice.
- Provide actionable support and drive execution on performance, job grading, compensation, and benefits adjustments.
- Conduct market benchmarking and competitor research, analyzing compensation structures, incentive mechanisms, and employee benefits trends across APAC.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 47 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years of Compensation & Benefits exposure.
- With min 3 years experience of banking / financial product related/blockchain industry
- Strong analytical and planning skills able to design work plans, manage timelines, and execute independently.
- Excellent English and Chinese communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with regional teams effectively.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; able to communicate confidently with senior managers and local HR teams.
- Hands-on, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a cross-border environment.
Preferred Background
- Experience in regional or multi-country C&B projects (e.g., Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Malaysia).
- Exposure to sales commission scheme or incentive design and review.
