Job Scope:
- Station at designated Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) locations during operational hours.
- Engage members of the public and promote participation in the Beverage Container Return Scheme.
- Educate residents on proper recycling practices and the benefits of returning eligible beverage containers.
- Guide users on the correct use of Reverse Vending Machines and troubleshoot basic issues on-site.
- Provide clear information on deposit refunds and eligible container requirements.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day on-site operations and maintain a positive user experience.
- Escalate technical issues or operational concerns to the relevant support team when necessary.
- Collect feedback from the public to support continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements:
- Friendly and confident in engaging the public
- Clear communicators in English proficiency in additional languages or dialects is an advantage
- Reliable and punctual, able to commit to the full 3-month period
- Flexible, willing to work evenings and/or weekends, and able to adapt to last-minute schedule changes
- Comfortable standing for extended periods in a public-facing environment
